Julie Michiels is an architect and senior project designer with Perkins+Will in Chicago. With a focus on shaping how people experience interior spaces, she works on projects that range widely in location, scale, and program, from local pro-bono work to international transit hubs, and plenty more in-between. She is also a contributing editor of the design journal MAS Context and frequent collaborator with the design office MAS Studio.
Patti manages the recruiting efforts for the School of Construction Management at Purdue University. Since assuming this role in 2015, both applications and enrollment in the program has increased over 20 percent. Assisting students in their pursuit of sunnner internships in the construction industry and placement after graduation is also part of Patti's work. With a dual assignment as a continuing lecturer Patti currently teaches the Instruction to Construction course.
Ms. Morgan has worked in the commercial construction industry since receiving her degree in Building Construction Management from Purdue. Her career covers many aspects and construction industry sectors including high rise commercial, tenant improvement. higher education, religious, LEED certified and many renovation projects.
Before returning to Purdue, Morgan focused on providing construction Inanagement services as the owner's representative on numerous commercial projects. Since 2004 Morgan and her husband have owned a commercial construction company, headquartered in Atlanta with work in Georgia, Indiana and six other states.
Practice Area Overview Lauryn Parks is a Partner with the firm’s Employment Law and Commercial Litigation groups. Work Experience While in law school, Ms. Parks worked as a legal intern for the Office of Legal Council for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) where she worked extensively on the interpretation and enforcement of administrative regulations concerning firearm ownership and sale. Following the completion of this internship, Ms. Parks worked as a legal intern for the Legal Department of Federal Signal Corporation where she worked on several liability cases.
