Michael Eshoo CPM®, Senior Portfolio Manager, Senior Vice President-Wealth Management, Wealth Management Advisor. Mike has been working in the financial services industry since 1989 and joined Merrill Lynch in 1999. His analytical background, education, and designations make him exceptionally qualified in his role of asset manager. His management is specified to one's needs, thus providing superior service to clients.

Upon meeting with Mike, you immediately see that he is passionate about his work. As Mike says, "I find it incredibly satisfying to see the impact that we've made with our clients' lives over the past 20 years." Mike works with high net worth individuals and has an unwavering commitment to producing results for them while putting their interests first. Mike has recently begun to focus on working with non-profits and in the charitable giving and philanthropic areas.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree with specialization in Finance from Marquette University. He attained his Certified Portfolio Manager (CPM®) designation through the Academy of Certified Portfolio Managers held at Columbia University. Mike participates in fundraising for various non-profits, most notably for breast cancer, as he took part in the 60 mile Susan Komen walk for breast cancer.

Mike currently lives in River Forest and enjoys sports of all kinds. A former hockey player, Mike started playing at the age of five and although he recently retired from playing formally, he has been a major supporter of local youth hockey. Mike also is passionate about the Chicago Blackhawks and has been a season ticket holder since the 1980's.

Julie Michiels is an architect and senior project designer with Perkins+Will in Chicago. With a focus on shaping how people experience interior spaces, she works on projects that range widely in location, scale, and program, from local pro-bono work to international transit hubs, and plenty more in-between. She is also a contributing editor of the design journal MAS Context and frequent collaborator with the design office MAS Studio.

Patti Morgan

Patti Morgan

Patti manages the recruiting efforts for the School of Construction Management at Purdue University. Since assuming this role in 2015, both applications and enrollment in the program has increased over 20 percent. Assisting students in their pursuit of sunnner internships in the construction industry and placement after graduation is also part of Patti's work. With a dual assignment as a continuing lecturer Patti currently teaches the Instruction to Construction course.

Ms. Morgan has worked in the commercial construction industry since receiving her degree in Building Construction Management from Purdue. Her career covers many aspects and construction industry sectors including high rise commercial, tenant improvement. higher education, religious, LEED certified and many renovation projects.

Before returning to Purdue, Morgan focused on providing construction Inanagement services as the owner's representative on numerous commercial projects. Since 2004 Morgan and her husband have owned a commercial construction company, headquartered in Atlanta with work in Georgia, Indiana and six other states.

Practice Area Overview Lauryn Parks is a Partner with the firm’s Employment Law and Commercial Litigation groups. Ms. Parks has a wide array of experience in employment litigation matters, including litigating breach of restrictive covenant and non-solicitation agreements, wage and hour disputes, and a variety of federal and state employment discriminations claims. She also has extensive experience in commercial litigation and business disputes, including declaratory judgments, contract disputes, construction and real estate litigation, and matters involving various injunctive and equitable remedies. Ms. Parks has experience in all aspects of litigation and appellate law, including pre-trial discovery, preparing and arguing dispositive motions, first-chair trial experience, handling proceedings before various municipal and administrative agencies, and arguing before the appellate court. Ms. Parks also consults with and advises employers and executive-level employees regarding employment agreements, restrictive covenants, compensation issues, employee handbooks, and employee separations.

Education and Background Ms. Parks received a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Economics from the University of Chicago in 2003. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School in 2007.

Work Experience While in law school, Ms. Parks worked as a legal intern for the Office of Legal Council for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) where she worked extensively on the interpretation and enforcement of administrative regulations concerning firearm ownership and sale. Following the completion of this internship, Ms. Parks worked as a legal intern for the Legal Department of Federal Signal Corporation where she worked on several liability cases.

Ms. Parks is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Labor and Employment Law Section Council, and the DuPage County Bar Association.
